What a horribly cold windy day it was this Wednesday. Only once before had I seen the bay so agitated with swells and whitecaps. Autumn leaves were being blown every which way.The heat has yet to be turned on in any of the housing. We're not freezing, by no means, but it also isn't as warm and cozy as grandma's house on a Thanksgiving Day morning either. I stayed indoors most of the day to read. "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is keeping me company on this unforgiving day.
